Beginning the Financial Conversation

As your parents age, the question often arises as to whether their living situation is still appropriate, as compared to their needs.

Oftentimes, in assessing the situation, a major factor affecting the answer revolves around finances.  Those who are better financially situated have more options available. Regardless of finances, though, safety is always a key factor as well.

Inevitably, the earlier families start to have this conversation and become more knowledgeable about the state of their parents’ financial affairs, the more time families will have to strategize and identify the best opportunity available.
