Free Memory Screenings during National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month!

In recognition of National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month (November), several professional organizations are joining together to provide free memory screenings at 2,500 different places across the country today, November 15, 2011.  The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) recommends that people who have memory concerns, have a family history of Alzheimer’s disease, or those who would like to check their memory now for future comparison should all take advantage of this free screening.  Oftentimes, this may be the first time a participant discusses memory concerns, despite prior visits to their primary care physician.  If you want to become more familiar with your memory capabilities, be sure to take advantage of this great opportunity.
