Navigate Wall Street Alone?

In the wake of today’s economic climate, many Americans continue to question whether investing in the stock market is appropriate.  Of course, the answers vary widely depending upon a person’s age, investing objectives, and general concern about risk.  However, regardless of whether you desire to continue investing in the stock market or elsewhere, another question inevitably arises: Should I hire a financial advisor?  Depending upon your investing savvy, you may believe you can do just as good a job on your own.  However, saving the cost of a financial adviser up-front may cost you more in the end.  At the very least, you may benefit from speaking with a couple of financial advisers before making your ultimate decision, as they may sway your decision.
